It has taken my attention a recent on-line published reportage by Cadena Ser Spain about the last 20 years of illegal immigration to Canary Islands. Nicolás Castellano really pointed to the problem and offered here a good radiography of the situation.

It is a multimedia documentary written in “first person” with all the resources that this media has (re)covered in these last 20 years of history. Divided in different sections, we start with a contextualization of the immigration issue, how and when it started, first reactions etc.; a map with all the different human disasters fruit of these tempts of freedom, statics etc.

A multidisciplinary team participated on the elaboration of this report, and we have their visions here too, enriched with graphics and pictures of the facts presented. It is a really must read, for those who can speak Spanish (only spanish version offered).
